About Tom McAlister:
Tom McAlister (aka NYC ART STAR) is an installation artist residing in NYC. His proposed project
is to partner with Out-Of-Home advertisers, Sharpie® brand
permanent markers,
KRINK® brand permanent markers,
and Junobo® Paint to install
his INTERACTIVE art installation into the 190th Street A-Train Subway Station in Washington Heights,
northern Manhattan and then watch the viewers run amok and EXPLODE THEIR CREATIVITY.

Situated in Washington Heights, northern Manhattan, 140 feet underground, the 190th Street A-train Subway
Station is your stop to access the beautiful Ft Tryon Park and the Met's Cloisters Museum. With walls that
have a curved tunnel bore look, the 190th Street A-train Subway Station still possesses all of its
aesthetically captivating Wine Cellar and Roman Aqueduct inspired design as it did when it opened
to the public in 1932.
